About GeekyPeepo
Friendly, no-BS tutorials on apps, shortcuts and the features your devices have been hiding from you.
GeekyPeepo is a small, independent site of plain-English tutorials for the apps, shortcuts and settings that most people never find on their own. The goal is simple: help you use the phone, laptop and tools you already have like you actually own them.
What you'll find here
Step-by-step walkthroughs for everyday tech: screen recording a call, finding the right eSIM before a trip, setting up a browser extension, and the small features that save you ten minutes a day. Many articles come with a video so you can watch the steps as well as read them.
There is also NoPeep, a small free Chrome extension we built for keeping chats private from people looking over your shoulder.
How we write
- Written from doing the steps. Tutorials are built around actually following the process, so the screenshots and click paths match what you will see.
- Beginner friendly by default. We explain the why, not just the where to click, and flag the limits and gotchas up front.
- Kept honest. If a tool has a catch, a paid tier or a limitation, we say so in the article instead of burying it.
- Corrected when we're wrong. If something is out of date or incorrect, tell us and we will fix it.
How we make money
GeekyPeepo is free to read. To keep it running, the site shows advertising served by Google AdSense, which is how you will see ads inside some articles. We do not sell your information and we do not run a newsletter or sell products.
At the moment none of the links in our articles are affiliate links. If we add them later, we will mark those articles clearly and say so before you click. Recommendations are never for sale: a tool gets in an article because we think it's useful to you.
